I bought the original Defenders Study Bible when it was first published 20 years ago. I particularly liked the CD-ROM that came with it, which included all the Bible and Study Notes -- I was never without the Bible, because it was always on my computer with me. Would be great if it was now available as an iPhone app!! When the New Defenders Study Bible came out with additional Notes, prior to Dr. Morris's going to Glory, I never got around to purchasing it. Now renamed The Henry Morris Study Bible, I do believe someone has added another 100-plus pages of Notes! It is now so large and heavy, it better serves as a pastors Study Bible, or for someone who will not be trying to carry it around like to church -- its now just too big and heavy. I'm not complaining, because the additional Notes are invaluable. But it has definitely lost its portability. That's why Id love to see an iPhone app developed for this Bible. Then I could have it with me everywhere and never have an idle moment in a doctor's waiting room, on a long airplane flight, etc. Regardless, it is a wonderful resource in its current form. Thank you!!!!
Scientifically, historically, and doctrinally insightful. Factual, documented, and gracious to various Christian streams of thought and interpretation. My go-to default version for years, although I have numerous other study Bibles. This is a classic foundation for the authority of all Scripture.
