In 1980, Mount St. Helens erupted and forced evolutionists to admit that many long-held beliefs about geology had to change! The catastrophic explosion quickly became known as "God's gift to creationists."
Over 30 years later, geologist Dr. Steve Austin returns to the volcano. Here he shares about the amazing processes which reshaped the terrain. New high-definition "flyover photography" and new animations, plus easy-to-understand illustrations, show that the evidence supports the biblical record of earth's history. The formation of these features, and others noted at the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and elsewhere were thought to have taken millions of years. Now, they are clearly explained by quick catastrophic processes, especially the global Flood of Noah's day. (Includes special bonus features.)

If you're watching this video for the first time, it helps if you already have a basic understanding of the significance of the Mount Saint Helen eruption to the catastrophic Flood account. It's not strictly necessary, though. Moderate levels of techno-babble but the context is usually pretty clear. Absolutely NO animated illustrations demonstrating exactly how the initial eruption and later catastrophes occurred. In fact, the only video related to the eruption are still photographs. This isn't surprising, considering it was the extremely early 80s, but illustrated animations would have helped tremendously. Breathtaking views of the modern day landscape.
This is very convincing, especially for those who do not give credence to the Biblical record. We use it to help open the minds of our pagan friends and relatives.
